Create a ceramic Christmas tree with guest artist Randy Eakin at our two-day Adult Studio Workshop: Ceramic Christmas Trees. Participants aged 18 and over will hand-build with clay while exploring the creative possibilities of applied and glazed texture. Daytime workshops will be offered on Wednesdays, November 2 and November 30, 2022 from 2:00-4:30 p.m., and evening workshops will be offered on Thursdays, November 3 and December 1, 2022 from 6:00-8:30 p.m.
On the first day of the workshop participants will hand-build their clay Christmas trees. Completed Christmas trees will be bisque-fired in our on-site kiln before the second class where participants will return to the studio to apply glaze. A final firing in the kiln will transform the glazed Christmas trees into a Christmas decoration worthy of gift giving and will be available for pick up in mid-December.
Each workshop is limited to 12 participants, ages 18 and older. $65 will reserve your space in this class and provides all materials for the workshop.
