Painting with Gouache

6:00 - 8:30 p.m.

This three-night series is a beginner’s painting workshop, June 16, 23, and 30, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. for adults and teenagers 16 and older. The workshop will be taught by guest artist Calvin Carter.  All supplies are included in the $65 registration fee. Participants will discover the artistic possibilities that gouache painting can offer, and will leave with new skills and a beautifully painted work of art.

Important Details:

• Classes begin promptly at 6:00 p.m.
• Aprons will be provided, but participants are encouraged to dress for the art studio.
• The museum’s studio can be cool, so we encourage you to consider bringing a sweater or jacket.
• Registration for this class includes Windsor & Newton primary gouache paints, three Robert Simmons white sable paint brushes, a covered palette, and illustration board.
   

PHOTOGRAPHY RELEASE
