Pottery Wheel Basics
March 10, 17, and 24
6-8:30 p.m.
This three-night workshop, March 10, 17, and 24, will introduce the basics of the pottery wheel process to 6 participants and is designed for adults and teenagers 16 and older. The $100 materials and registration fee includes 50 lbs. of Armadillo Longhorn White Clay. Each 2 ½ hour hands-on session will be led by Stark Museum Teaching Artist Karen Leonard from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Important Details:
- Classes begin promptly at 6:00 p.m.
- Aprons will be provided, but participants are encouraged to dress for the art studio.
- The museum’s studio can be cool, so we encourage you to consider bringing a sweater or jacket.
- A firing schedule for finished clay pots and pick-up times will be announced during the final class.
