Afterschool Art: Drawing Realistic Hands for 9th – 12th grades

Learn how to draw realistic hands during this four-week class for students in 9th – 12th grades.  Students will work with pencil and charcoal while learning techniques to create life-like renderings.  The class will culminate with a matted 11 x 14 “hand study” that students will be proud to display.  This opportunity will benefit anyone wishing to develop their mastery of a challenging subject – hands!  Class size is limited to 10 students.  Registration is $40 per student, and all materials are provided. Register online at starkmuseum.org.

This four-week class will meet from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and will focus on specific skill building. Students may be assigned some brief at-home assignments during the course of the class that will reinforce the instruction that is given in the studio. Class size is limited to 10 students to allow one on one time with our Teaching Artist. All materials needed for the class are included in the $40 class.
