Afterschool Art: Shading Techniques (5th-8th Grades)
January 14, 21, 28, 2020 and February 4, 11, 2020
4:30-5:30 p.m.
Get ready to learn about shading! During this five-week class, students in 5th-8th grade will have the opportunity to learn how to use shading techniques to create 3D effects using different values. Students will work with assorted drawing pencils while learning about hatching, cross hatching and stippling, and the class will culminate with a matted 11x14 drawing students will be proud to display. This five-week class will provide a solid skill base for your young artist to advance their ability and deepen their love of drawing.
