Learn to sculpt and texturize a 3-D figure at the CREATE! Workshop: Hand-built Clay Horse on Saturday, March 12, 2022 from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.  We will seek inspiration from the galloping horse sculptures in the Stark Museum of Art and then head to the studio to roll out slabs to make a horse from clay!  Your piece will be made with Marblex Air Dry Clay and will trot home with you to dry. CREATE! Workshops are multigenerational and designed for artists 8 years old to adults. All supplies are included in the $5 material fee when you register online.  Advanced registration required.

CREATE! Workshops are recommended for ages 8 and up and are designed to be multi-generational, but please note that younger children may require additional assistance from their accompanying grown-up. We encourage family collaboration during these workshops. Children ages 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult registered for the workshop. Registrants will briefly discuss a selected collection item and then will appreciate art in a new way when they make their own art in the studio. Space is limited to 20 people per session including children and adults – all attendees must register.
