What does it mean to be at home? Take a lunch break at home or in the office and join the Stark Museum of Art for a special Lunch & Look @ Home: What Home Means on Thursday, October 7, 2021 from Noon – 1:00 P.M. (central daylight time). Sarah E. Boehme, Curator, will guide participants on this virtual tour through the thematic sections of our newest special exhibition “The West as Home.” Participants will have the opportunity to look closely at one work of art from each section of the exhibition – Land, Shelter, Interior Space, and Family – and explore in greater depth how the artist tells a story about home or provides a spark for interpretations of home. Participants must register for this FREE program in advance. Registration will close on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. (central daylight time).
The program will be facilitated live through Zoom at the Stark Museum of Art. Participants are encouraged to download Zoom prior to the event. For more information, including tutorials for using Zoom, please visit the Resources page on the Zoom website.
The live program will be recorded and available at a later date on the Stark Museum of Art website and Stark Art & History YouTube channel.
